In HP Service Desk, grouping on date fields in a table view presents each date in a separate group.   End users can easily lose track when many different date values exist in the results set.

PROLIN Smart Client 10 improves the behavior with the use of date range grouping, in which rows are presented using the following groups: Today, Tomorrow, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Next Week, Two Weeks Away, Three Weeks Away, Next Month, Beyond Next Month, Yesterday, Last Week, Two Weeks Ago, Three Weeks Ago, Last Month, and Older.
